Upon arrival there is a 5min walk to collect the keys to be able to get access the lodge via a car. You can arrange in advance so that we can meet you on site to give you the key so that you don't have to walk to collect.

Onsite Directions To Coniston View 7 Lodge

Pull into to the Leisure park carpark and head to the end of the carpark with the leisure club on your left.

Park up here as the keys need to be collected from the lodge to allow access through the barrier with a car.

Walk left past the leisure club and there is a barrier in front, walk around this and carry on down the road which bends right slightly for 2 - 3 mins until there is a fork in the road, turn right for Coniston view. Follow around this road past about 6 lodges on your left.

Please avoid candles where possible as they are a safety risk, but if using monitor at all times and extinguish when leaving the lodge.
BBQ
We advise against BBQ's, but if you do use one please use on the grass area and don't use disposable ones that will scorch the grass. Dispose of safely and remove from the property before check out.
HOT TUB
Emergency Shut Off Button is located on the side of the Lodge Decking.
Don the decking steps turn right and under the hotter on the panelling is a big red dial- turn to off ONLY IN AN EMERGENCY)

By using the hot tub in our holiday home, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this safety disclaimer. You agree to use the hot tub responsibly and at your own risk. Lake District Lodge Getaways and owners will not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from the use of the hot tub.
The hot tub is changed and cleaned before every guest. Please let us know as soon as you arrive if the water does not look clean as if it is not reported at the beginning of your stay then you will be charged for a hot tub clean of £75

Charges for misuse
A charge for excessive soiling of the hot tub may be added after your stay, even though it is cleaned after every guest any of the following needs a deep clean and/or extra sanitation.

Lifting the Lid
To lift the cover, make sure that the black metal lifting bar is in the middle of the cover where the fold is. Lift back the fist half back on its self over the bar, then left back the second half with the bar in sandwiched in-between. (this is easiest done when in the hot tub.
Please close the cover in reverse to how it was opened after every session to keep the heat in and to stop leaves and insects getting in.
Lighting
The switch for the outdoor light is on the exterior wall of the lodge to the left of the patio doors (Right next to the hot tub) There are also lights inside the hot tub. On the control panel press the button that looks like a Sun (second from the left) press multiple times for different colours.
Guidelines for hot tub use
Please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines before using the hot tub in our holiday home:
1. Age Restriction: The hot tub is only suitable for individuals aged 16 years and above. Children and infants are strictly prohibited from using the hot tub without adult supervision.
2. Health Considerations: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, such as heart disease, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, or are pregnant, consult with your physician before using the hot tub. Hot tub use may pose risks to your health, and it is essential to ensure it is safe for you.
3. Alcohol and Drug Use: The use of alcohol or drugs before or during hot tub use can lead to drowsiness, unconsciousness, and an increased risk of drowning. It is strictly prohibited to use the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
4. Showering: It is mandatory to take a shower before entering the hot tub to remove any oils, lotions, or other substances that may contaminate the water. Failure to do so may result in the water becoming dirty or causing skin irritations.
5. Time Limit: Do not spend more than 15-20 minutes in the hot tub at a time to prevent overheating, dehydration, or other health risks. Prolonged exposure to high temperatures can be dangerous.
6. Temperature Control: Do not adjust the temperature settings of the hot tub without prior approval from the holiday home management. The temperature is set to a safe and comfortable level, and altering it may lead to scalding or other injuries.
7. Slippery Surfaces: Be cautious when entering or exiting the hot tub, as the surrounding area may be wet and slippery. Use the provided handrails and non-slip mats to prevent accidents.
8. No Diving or Jumping: The hot tub is not designed for diving or jumping. Doing so may result in serious injuries, including head, neck, or spinal injuries. Always enter the hot tub by carefully stepping in.
9. Electrical Safety: Do not tamper with the hot tub's electrical components or attempt to repair any faults yourself. Contact the holiday home management immediately if you notice any electrical issues.
10. Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency shut-off switches, first aid kits, and emergency contact numbers. In case of an emergency, remain calm and follow the appropriate procedures.
